My questions is this: If Christ was holy, completely fulfilling the law, how could he have died? You said: "The holy and sinless Christ suffered on the cross, dying both physically and spiritually despite having done no wrong" I don't see anywhere where the Bible says Christ "died spiritually," because only the damned and alienated from God are dead spiritually (that's the definition of spiritual death after all). I don’t see anywhere where the Bible says Christ “died spiritually,” because only the damned and alienated from God are dead spiritually (that’s the definition of spiritual death after all).
